Completing Your Wedding Website Content
Your wedding website is the central hub for all information your guests need. Here's how to add every important detail.
Essential Information Sections
Partner Names & Date
From your dashboard, click Settings > Wedding Details:
- Enter both names as you want them displayed (first names, full names, or nicknames)
- Set your wedding date and time
- Add a custom tagline or wedding hashtag
Your Love Story
Share your journey with guests:
- Go to Dashboard > Story
- Write about how you met
- Add key relationship milestones
- Include fun facts or quotes about your relationship
Tip: Keep it personal but concise — guests love learning about your journey without reading a novel!
Venue Information
Add your ceremony and reception details:
Ceremony Details:
- Venue name and full address
- Date and start time
- Parking instructions
- Any pre-ceremony notes (e.g., "Unplugged ceremony — please silence phones")
Reception Details:
- Venue name (if different from ceremony)
- Full address with directions
- Start time and expected end time
- Dress code suggestions
Schedule of Events
Create a timeline for your wedding day:
- Go to Dashboard > Timeline
- Click Add Event
- Enter event name, time, and location
- Add optional descriptions
Example timeline:
- 3:00 PM — Guest Arrival
- 3:30 PM — Ceremony Begins
- 4:00 PM — Cocktail Hour
- 5:00 PM — Reception Doors Open
- 5:30 PM — First Dance
- 6:00 PM — Dinner Service
- 8:00 PM — Cake Cutting
- 11:00 PM — Last Dance
Accommodations
Help out-of-town guests:
- List recommended hotels with room block information
- Include booking codes or links
- Add distance from venue
- Note shuttle service if available
Registry Information
Link to your gift registries:
- Go to Dashboard > Settings > Registry
- Add links to Amazon, Zola, or other registries
- Include your honeymoon fund if applicable
- Add a personal note about gifts
Wedding Party
Introduce your VIPs:
- Add bridesmaids and groomsmen with photos
- Include their relationship to you
- Add fun facts or roles in the wedding
Updating Information
All information can be edited anytime from your dashboard. Changes save automatically and publish immediately to your live site. You'll see a "Last updated" timestamp so you know when changes went live.
What Guests See
After adding your details, preview your site by clicking the View Site button in your dashboard. Make sure to check:
- All dates and times are correct
- Addresses are complete and accurate
- Links to registries and hotels work
- Photos display properly
Important: Ask a friend or family member to review your site for any typos or missing information before sending invitations!
