Types of Photos on Your Site
Hero/Cover Image
- Large banner at top of your site
- First thing guests see

Gallery Photos
- Collection of your favorite images
- Engagement session photos

Wedding Party Photos
- Individual headshots
- Group photos optional

Uploading Your Hero Image
- Go to Dashboard > Design > Hero Image
- Click Upload Image
- Select your photo
- Adjust positioning if needed
- Save changes
Best practices:
- Use a horizontal (landscape) image
- Minimum 1920px wide recommended
- High resolution for sharp display
- Consider how it looks on mobile (cropped)
Managing Your Photo Gallery
- Go to Dashboard > Photos (or Gallery section)
- Click Upload Photos
- Select multiple images at once
- Wait for upload to complete
- Arrange order by dragging
Organization:
- Create albums for different events
- Add captions to photos
- Set featured photos for homepage
- Delete photos you don't want
Wedding Party Photos
- Go to Dashboard > Wedding Party
- Click on a party member
- Upload their photo
- Crop to face-centered square
- Save

Image Requirements
Supported formats:
- JPEG/JPG (recommended)
- PNG
- WebP
Size limits:
- Maximum 10MB per image
- Recommended: 2-5MB for web
- Larger files will be compressed
Resolution recommendations:
- Hero image: 1920x1080 minimum
- Gallery photos: 1200px wide minimum
- Party photos: 400x400 minimum
Optimizing Images
Before uploading:
- Export from your photographer at "web" quality
- Use image compression tools (TinyPNG, Squoosh)
